Program note: 
Breath(e) is a piece for two alto saxophones that starts relentlessly and only builds from there. Its initial, angular rhythms eventually become long, curving lines, in each case exploring the inherent necessity of breath, space, and lack thereof in saxophone playing. Approximately 9 minutes in duration.
